#911Truth WTFact #24: The Impossible Pentagon Turn Expert Pilots Can’t Execute
Did you miss the introduction to this year’s campaign?
One of the most egregious frauds passed off as fact in the 9/11 Commission Report is the impossible descent and turn which comprised the alleged final approach of Flight 77 to the Pentagon. The official government fairy tale states that the hijackers executed a 330 degree turn (almost a full circle), descending approximately 5000 ft at a high rate of speed, in what is said to be about 2.5 minutes. It then levels off at about 2000 ft, approximately 4 miles from the Pentagon. At that time, the hijackers supposedly accelerated to max speed, descending further, straight into the Pentagon. Along the way, it would tear 5 light poles out of the ground however it left no visible debris near them.
That sounds pretty incredible, especially the part about accelerating while descending, beating the incredible drag, irregular air currents and the “ground effect”, which all make it hard to control the plane’s direction and speed simultaneously. The nature of this situation is virtually impossible for the most advanced pilots, let alone the amateur skilled hijackers.
The straight-line descent is difficult enough for the master pilot, but that’s only after the fabled 330 degree turn which many pilots say is not possible in a commercial airliner. It’s commonly said that “the plane would fall out of the sky” as it’s not meant to handle a maneuver like that, similar to taking a school bus on a rally course.
The video is 11 minutes long, longer than most care to watch, but if you are reading this, you should go ahead and invest a little more time to see the farcical nature of the 9/11 Commission Report for yourself.
